We loved all
the times we've heard your music before. We're looking forward to your
performance on Oct. 29 at Sea Trail Convention Center, Sunset Beach. Duke! This
looks fabulous! I love your choice of graphics. Can you believe it's been
almost 3 years since my wedding?! You and the band were outstanding that
weekend- I couldn't have asked for better. Our best to you always. Laura and
Timothy Ford I played "be young, be foolish,
be happy" about 20 times throughout the day. Very catchy! The man-"The
legend"- The music...
You and Your Band were excellent at the UNC-W Gala for Chancellor DePaolo thia past weekend. Keep Playing Those Tunes, "Little Ricky D."
Duke- Thanks for entertaining
at the Art Museum today. You were wonderful, and you made our 25th
anniversary more special than you can possibly know! When you played "All
the Things You Are"--you had us both in tears and remembering why we married
each other. Thank you so much! Slainte! Garry and Mary Ann 16 Nov 2004 Hi Duke Ladd, I am
looking forward to seeing you this weekend. I am the mother of the bride
(Kelly Hill) and have come up with some songs you could play at the
reception....if you can... Frank Sinatra songs, "Cherie, Cherie", K-K-Katy,
Red Red Wine, Do you Know the Way to San Jose? Tony Bennett songs, Cabaret
Music, Chorus Line. You probably know them all by heart. All of the girls
have spent time in the islands, so they like the reggae music. I thought
about "I want a girl just like the girl that married dear old dad". Kelly
won't know it but her parents do. Looking forward to seeing both of you on
Saturday and Sunday. Pray for sunshine. Katie Hill Nothing could be finer than to
be in Carolina in the morning, but nothing could be sweeter than to play
when you're the leader in the evening!
